If Only My heart in lonely and dark saddened pain Grieves in lonely silence which is only done in vain. How can I go on torturing my soul in this way, When they don't even care to hear the words which I say? Is what I say wrong, does this problem lie with me... Or is the answer simply: this world is stricken with apathy? Each day that goes by I hope and I pray- That somehow we'll end this game we now play; For life is to precious to waste as we do... If only we understood the words "I Love You." Christopher T. Moore March 20, 1991 |
