A Conversation With Julie

Go ahead..... Put on that sad, Little happy face. Can't afford to be bad. Early on learned your place. Go ahead...... Blink back those tears, Paste on that smile. You've done it for years. Just hurts for a while. Go ahead....... Keep your feelings inside Where no one can see. Better yet, run and hide. But, you'll never be free. Oh, you're right....... It takes courage to change From the inside out. Strength to rearrange What your life's all about. But you're ready to fight.... I feel it in my heart. Just don't run for cover. Let me help you start, Then the battle's half over. Stay steady of mind..... Don't wait any longer. I can show you the way. And you will grow stronger With each passing day. Someday you'll find..... Someone will need you To help them discover The way that you grew And began to recover. How do I know?..... Because where you are now Is where I once stood. Someone else helped me grow And to share feels so good.

Additional Notes:
This was a real conversation with the real Julie. I hope she is doing well now.
