TO A GENTLE FRIEND A cheery smile, And winsome heart, Can lift the veil Of shadows dark. A gentle ear, With soft eyes gaze, Can help one deal With life's curious maze. Know this, My kind and gentle friend, Tis on my ear You can depend. |
