Whispering Hints

Show me a glimpse, Of the things to be known. When fruitful years past, Have harvests now grown. Show me the purpose,  Of lessons so pain’d, Bound in book covers, Bearing my name Hints are glimpsed, The book is re-covered. Fading memory time softened. New promises offered? The whisper cries, “Give back you fool. Compassion is born, In the works of this school.” What have I to give, With wounds cut deep? Memories time softened, Dreaded treasures I keep. No true value you say, In experiences you own. These dropped pains of life, Are the harvest you take home. I miss this riddle, I strongly declare. These values now bound, In pain and despair? ‘Tis true and straight.”, Called the whisper within, “The light of the soul, Is the bounty to win.” The glimpse was enough, And blessed my pain, Humbled and human’d, All the Soul is my gain. I will join with love, In compassion I stand. For wisdom has blessed me, With my heart in command A taker now changed, To a custodian of growth Who shall share this bounty As promised in oath. A promise to spirit This process of living, A truer path found In the spirit of giving.
