RUSH

Soft snow flakes on a long winter's eve Cascade onto deep brown hair As a dainty girl with a pure heart Awaits her hero in his chariot of midnight blue The Hero running four minutes late From delays of slippery roads and careless drivers Is flying on 1/3 gasoline 2/3 adrenaline As her street corner nears Chestnut brown eyes are big and glowing And wondering where her Hero is As another minute passes at 11:09 Clutching a silver watch chain in her tiny gloved fist He runs his worn hand through wild, auburn hair His blue eyes barely making out what's beyond the glass The 12 letter green marking making his night worthy The sight of a slender girl making his trip full-filled She squinted as the car door opened And squealed silently as a tall figure stepped out And clutched his neck with her cold, tiny hands And rubbed her rosen cheeks against his chest Our Hero sighed out happily As he gently helped her into the car And smiled the most sincere and eternal smile Being united with his hero once more.

Additional Notes:
This is my first outing with the "Kurt Vaunagat" style of writing numbers (1, 2, 3) rather than writing them out (one, two, three). Feedback on this expieremental risk is also appreciated.
