COMPREHENDING CADEN

So much time since you departed, and my sole has aged with years. My significance heals slightly each day yet nonetheless all time which proceeds,  your lack punctures my actuality. At intervals you take me unsuspecting, in the stars, the moon, or the shade of day. In a song, a sound, or quiet of time, I glance, then realize you once were. Exactly when I’m in the center of existing you caress my soul and warm my spirit. In anguish and my loss of knowing you, suddenly loneliness fills my reason. The journey you took is beyond my reach. I strive to maintain that this was best, yet not understanding in totality. You will always exist in my heart, never will I neglect the love in me. That only you were able to procure, and I live not knowing, yet securing there was a significance for you.
