Sleeping Prayers

When two or more                         Are gathered                               To bleach shattered praise                                     And cleanse violent need                         The majesty of mob                               Absorbs the incognito sin.                   Desert treks and narcissism                         Desecration and celebration                               Frantic nights and flagellation                         And in the garden masturbation;                   In comatose, disciples                         Dreaming of pornographic congregations                               And tongues of fire screaming,                         Ranting in orgied release                               Of some future Aquarian Age.
