BLESSED

A golden sunset is fading   somewhere deep off in the west. Lowering slowly, but so surely   'neath the far off western crest. I'll close my eyes to drift off   seeking a little needed rest. Till the beckon of a sunrise   awakens me refreshed. With each rising of the morning   I'll face another daily test. Welcoming a new unknown horizon   approaching my new day with zest. I'll seek out a new adventure   and try to give the day my best. Thanking God for one more morning   another chance, again I'm blessed.
