Bruised Woman On A Subwat Seat

Streaks, of makeup Run ugly Down perfect Cheeks. Eyes, crying Pained By purple circles Around them; Sharp contrast To dove-white Skin. Hands shaking, She Fumbles for a  Lighter, Places the menthol Between scabby Lips. She grins; he says that he still loves her, she'll be making him breakfast today.
