Elysian Fields

The Elysian Fields Glisten gold from glowing sun. Perpetual light Where the journey is begun By the searcher undaunted With more on their mind Than to settle for a paradise Others will find. Beyond the Lethe River Where whispering sprites hover There is more to behold So much more to discover Lest one forgets The hidden chamber resounds Within the human heart Where every treasure abounds. A calling unanswered Forgotten mountains to climb Yet another adventure Wondrous views still to find. From the moonless path of the Andes To the Fossil Cliffs of old There lay answers to questions From countless stories untold. Through experience comes knowledge Not found on library shelves. In our search for completeness We must all find ourselves. May the gentle breeze of Elysium Always be at your back. With a never-ending supply From the gods in your sack May your spirit soar higher Than Hermes ever dared. Equipped with class and courage I believe you’re prepared. Persevere, my friend, Toward every dream’s destination. Here’s a wish for the best And your own invitation… The World is waiting...
