SQUEEZE! PLEASE! The farthest recess, the bleakest unfurling: A cavern forgotten by the heart of man. In my pit a transformation is stirring And struggling, while earth dangles on His strand. A squeezed blackened coal becomes resplendent If God has His way. (And He has so far today.) And stern discipline's arrow is heaven sent For a submissive protege. But the chuck of soot will pay a price To sparkle like a gem. Extreme pressure does not feel so nice, Though it comes from the Prince of Salem. Likewise the heartbeat that sin did infect Must be malleable to heaven's architect. At times it must feel unbearable, as it creates a dazzler imperishable. In the end you'll find it is worth what has passed. In a twinkling.........immortality is grasped! His word has cut you so brilliantly, you're glowing, Because His glory reflects off each facet. All owing To the polishing you were willing to go through. My! What great pressure and greater grace can do! |
