Everlasting

I loved you from the day we met.   I know I never will forget   The frisson that possessed my soul   When you appeared and made me whole.   How strange it seems, that until then,   I knew I'd find you, but not when.   Your life and mine on paths apart,   Converged at last and in my heart,   A flower opened, blooming fair,   In everlasting beauty there.
