Kiss

I dreamed I kissed your lips last night I waited deliberately, so it would be just right. Luxurious scents filled the air, music mirrored my thoughts and cares. Your smile these fingers touched and traced, while on tiptoes, my hand brushed a chiseled face. I dreamed I kissed your lips last night seduced by the allurement of insatiable delight. I dreamed I kissed your lips last night, You knew just how to cajole and entice. I relished the time and could have gone on forever, savoring your scents of Old Spice and Vanilla. Broad shoulders my arms embraced, your hand lifted my chin, eyes searched my face. Enthralled with the moment, your fervent way, I kissed your lips last night again and again. An apparition you might betray, A trick born of fantasy and need. A kiss to remember in dreams of surrender, A promise from you to me.
