Unassassinated

Many have gone on before us, But only a few brave men have been able To leave their mark in society. How do we repay these men? ~With assassination Martin Luther King Jr., a black activist, Created the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Would that be enough to escape his fate? No, James Earl Ray shot and killed King in 1968. Julius Caesar, Leader of the Roman Empire, Was stabbed in the back by Brutus. Caesar also invented the month of July On the present day calendar.  John F. Kennedy, 35th President of the USA, Was the first Roman Catholic to become President. Kennedy put a man on the moon, but was still shot down by Lee Harvey Oswald. Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the USA, Gave the Gettysburg Address during the Civil War. Yet another US President Shot in cold blood, this time by John Wilkes Booth. John Lennon, Beatles Rocker, Brought hope to American people through his music. After giving him an autograph, Lennon was murdered  Outside of his apartment building, by Mark David Chapman. These lives were taken by assassination. However, their memories and accomplishments Live on within our hearts Forever, Unassassinated.
