The Wizard of the Sadle

Boldly road the Wizard of the Sadle Without the fear, or any though of death Into the firey field of battle where rabid horses dance, with smoke like breath Round about he weilds the double-edged sword with thundering charge and cork-screw yell here road this grey champion into the hoard by his own hand, many a North man fell A nobel gentileman, this modern knight with bow of hat to all ladies fair But beware in battle ferocious might and charge him headlong only if you dare Many were those brave on that field of battle None so as the Wizard of the Sadle.

Additional Notes:
Fore those who don't know, this poem is about Nathan Bedford Forrest. A Confederate cavalry general who was regarded as one of the greatest in American history. Lee himself said he was the best he had ever known. I left out puncuation at the end of the lines because I didnt think it necessary...being the end of the line. Thank you for reading my poem.
