No Sweet Hangover

Why do I think of you everytime the rain pours? Bathed in the water of our distance. Clothes clinging to a body that doesn't want to be a part of anything. Let me sleep forever. Let me dream. Entertaining notions that the light of day denies, Paling in truth, Fading in the realization that comes with time. I don't want it. Time for what? Time to reconsider? Time to relive her in regrets never to happen again. Time brings distance. It brings indifference. Seperated from me and all the beauty I used to see In the gullability of childish promise. Nothing is forever. Immortality in the oblivion I seek is the only thing, The only thing I hunger for anymore. Fuck her! Fuck me! Unstable and shaking. Making offerings with scarred hands to no one. Who's listening? What do I have to offer beyond comparisons? Everything looks like her, tastes like her, a her that's not even there anymore outside of menacing pictures. Beating me with inanimate smiles, Casting shadows over all hope, Darkening all chances of change. Slave to the mourning of morning, Black viels for the loss of another day. Another day and no I don't appreciate! The learning experience that comes from visiting  the burial ground of meaning. Is it not haunted? Aren't we? Victims of memmory sometimes too vivid for our own good, too personal to let go, to release. I hold the pain and it holds me. Possesively. Ambilical. I can't cut the string. I'm still growing, Still feeding. Praying that someone will wean me  off of the blood that covers everything. Painted in textures of abuse that I allowed you. Now allow me To deny excuse, To defy the need for breathing.
