My Own Prison

Prison. What is a prison? In my own opinion, a prison is far worse than an ordinary place. My definition runs deeper than that. My own prison, rests inside my very soul and it rips my insides out. In my prison, the smallest fear stands guard over my very freedom. There is on captive in my prison, and that is my heart. It feels like my fears and troubles hog-tie my heart and proceed in hitting it, like a boxer preparing for a fight. My heart can do nothing, While in my own prison. My heart is left empty, silence spears my heart, darkness covers my heart, And the cold chills freeze my heart.  One day I pray, the chains will be broken and I will be set free from my own prison.

Additional Notes:
I know the title is a song, but I think sometimes if you use a few words from someone else's piece, it will help you to find new words. I hope this doesn't effect the scores any.
