Timeless

Time waits Time waits Waiting on time Will make you late. Early bird The worm to find Hides within the ground. No one there No feast to gorge. The clock's hand Has moved for time Standing still The minutes slip. The day closes The moon appears A blanket folded Down waits  For a warm body. Nothing Nothingness To stop  And ponder for what? The still doesn't move The calm doesn't rustle. The drop Drops No time to wait Suspension Has no wires to cut. The float doesn't rest On hope.  But hope rests on floating Free. No guilt to save No gimmick The pendulum swings Both left and right. No one-way No stop Yet you wait for something That is not there Because it is everywhere.
