The solitude of Nature

I love listening to the musical notes  played by nature in the midst of a forest  during a sunny afternoon,  lying in a secluded glen,  sunshine streaming through the green ceiling above  an intricate lace created by tree limbs and leaves. I love sharing the solitude of Nature, the incredible aspect of it all.  When in the midst of Mother Nature,  the solitude is like a blanket  gathering me in her arms  and if I listen closely I can hear  the whispering of magical tales.  I close my eyes,  my soul frees itself from my body  and expands, becoming part of nature.  Where is this solitude?  Listen to the stream  rushing gently over rocks,  a leaf fluttering  from a branch overhead,  the steady tapping on a tree of a woodpecker,  the many sounds and motions of the undergrowth,  the inquisitive squirrels chattering  while jumping from tree to tree.  I’m never alone when surrounded by Nature.
