Remember Me Please do not cry Remember me with a smile Know I am free of pain Confusion no longer fills my mind My life on earth is over The Lord has called me home Know that I loved you As we walked through life together Know that I loved you As we laughed and cried together Know that I loved you Even when we disagreed Know that I loved you Even when I could not speak Know that I knew That you loved me too So remember me in the morning light When the birds begin to sing Remember me with joy in your heart For my "spirit" lives on forever |
