I Remember

I dreamed you held me in your arms all night there I was curved in the dawns early light. Your caress wrapped me in warm embrace, while your love I lay breathing contented and safe. I miss the picture of your sleeping face, the words your kiss brings while loving me. Your intoxicating scent, masculine and strong the lingering touch I feel after your gone. I remember long walks holding hands and driving wild, lost with dare and chance. Laughing together while we talked, thinking of future's, relinquishing the pain of what once was. Drinking wine on the old country porch, rain captured thoughts and staged the night's course. The mind's desires flooded our control I remember your touch left me wanting more. An illusion, a captured fantasy this dream Contrived in the nights arcade. Reality returned from it's escape in sleep A sigh of reprieve memories chose to create.
