Memories

A lock of hair, neatly tied with ribbon First tooth to fall, very well hidden Shoes size zero, for feet so small Together all placed inside Hand sketched pictures of days gone by Cards of good wishes to cherish A dried rose, from our first night A locket from you, with us inside All of these I keep safe within reach For my memories run deep The love we shared and the life we lived Now just a memory I keep  Within the lining of my heart
