Gdansk

A soldier, I am one of many. Today we march on Gdansk. Yesterday, The shipbuilders laid down their tools At the words of the mustached hero. Now they occupy the factory. (My father was a shipbuilder, One of those). Why don't they accept The way things are? The solution they always knew would come. Their resistance will be weak, Yet it will be there, As it was against The mustached villain. But then, they were them, Now, they are us. We arrive. There's little movement here in Gdansk. It was no secret that we would be here. It is, after all, the only solution, The way things have to be. Not all go to the shipyard. Myself and three have different orders. An address handed to us by an unknown Gives us the home Where lives one who follows closely, The words of the mustached hero. At the door, We are met by a mother and child, Not moving to protect a husband and father. I speak. "Do not stand against us, We are many, who follow orders well." They do not move. I strike the mother. She falls to the side, Child in her arms. We find the follower of the mustached hero. He doesn't fight us. We take him away. We go to the factory Where the shipbuilders were holding. Now they are out, The soldiers are in. I see a worker lying behind the gates, Blood on his face. He looks like my father, But my father is dead. He was killed by the soldiers Of the mustached villain, In the war to save freedom. Now it can't be saved. Things are different, Not like they were. Back then, they were them, Now, they are us.

Poland: where courage is more than a word. If anyone reads all of this, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on structure and punctuation.
