School Days

I remember a time, circa Nineteen-Fifty-Nine when culture was infinitley better A kid like me sliding by with a "C" knew lead and deal shared the same four letters Family not that strong, something went wrong selfishness ramapan on the rise In meditation looking for some relation to what started our modern demise I remember September we all were kids until the day before school began We had to sit and listen, taking in what we're now missin', taught with a simple plan Afternoon and early evening we were taken off the leash, no restraint just to go play No one ever knew the things we used to do, there was a chance we could save the day We played poker over Pete's house, if they knew we's be grounded the next day Time is an item, the detour was toured and the mental, they lament wasting, taken away Dimes become deism and reviled, that becomes deliver, I know this is is how I am If you demand you sure will madden like seapration, Don't! try a new Program Now I am older, and I must say much bolder, collecting thoughts for so many years Each day I am writing it truly is exciting, God has allayed all my fears.
