Daisies (tanka)

delicate daisies swaying under summer skies softly whispering secrets shared by those who dare to share their dreams with daisies

Copyright © August 2001 Nancy Ann Hemsworth

Additional Notes:
tanka form is similiar to haiku..5 lines..of 5,7,5,7,7 beats, non rhyming, no punc. or capitals..I choose to use a title, this is a personal preference. I feel it adds to the piece. This poem is refering to the a old tradition of picking daisy peddles to find out if "he/she love me..loves me not"..I think everyone can relate to this..
