RECOGNIZING YOU

Expressing anguished trepidation of past years, offending others forging varied fears. The terror and torture experienced long ago, had locked all emotions now yearning to flow. Thought alone and ambiguous of even myself, creating poetry to heal, releasing pain from the shelf. Unknowing the responses from others who read, antiquity as verses; longing for healing to proceed. The events completely I can not fully envision, frightful and shocking, introspective as an incision. The courage to speak unequivocally to another, unaware if acceptance would be bequeathed by others. The fear to express events of such darkness, complete with details of undiminished harshness. Apprehension was heavy upon my heart, writing to those who could easily depart. Instead I have found compassion seeking to console, by means of each investigating my heart and soul. Thank you for listening while starting this excursion, from torment unearthed facing life lacking aversion. Dedicated to all of the poets on “The Poet Link”
