Shredded

Is this how life is going to be? Feeling like I am dying inside, torn, and drowning Destroying a part of me Just as I take a breath It seems to flood within me Trapped and sinking inside of me The pain and misery is consuming me Ripping out a part of me Just dying inside of me Even the love that surrounds me Dies inside of me Leaving them feeling broken and abused Hating who I’ve become When dying doesn’t seem to be much fun Just wanting to bite off my tongue Then we pull it back together For another round  In this war raging inside of me It’s difficult to see the progress The path to lead or follow Confused and consumed by what surrounds me I’m not searching for the meaning of life We are here and I feel That’s enough for me I’m searching for true happiness  In this Hell that overwhelm me   Will I ever find that place to be?
