Little League Junkie

Blue and gold basebal cap T-shirt Number "1" Little banner waiving Go Team Go For most of the game I yell, I scream I jump up and down Gosh, this is so much fun I've no concept of the rules I'm here to cheer My grandson on "Go Branden Go" A hush falls over the crowd We stand and sing our song The boys are in the field The games about to begin First boy up to bat How proud he stands One, two, three strikes Your ......out! Second boy makes a hit Runs fast as he can Lands safe on second No stealing home now, do you hear? Third guy, what a pro He fills the bases full Here in the last of the sixth Hear the crowd roar.... The batter on has Three balls, two strikes He needs to pray Before he hits that ball See the sweat forming On the pitchers brow The bases are loaded Feel the tension in the air The score is tied Here comes the pitch The sound of metal fills the air As the ball flies by, out of sight How I love this game The crowd explodes Roars echoe through the air Bring them on home Forget the coffee Bring on the trophy I'm a Little League junkie I can't get enough of the game
