My Serenity Within

Slow drifting ripples of aquamarine regality,  Cascading across silvery stones of harmonic balance, Lazily drifting, like sunlit waves of fantasy, A crystal stream flows through a Kinkaidian garden, Trickling merrily down a soft sloping slide,  Rippling along in melodic tonality,  Each drop a symphony unto itself,  Testament to the fulfillment of nature's awe, Magenta leaves rustle in cool breezes,  Surrounded by dark fir spires of evergreens,  Interspersed with purest ivory petals of lilies,  So radiantly accented with their pink starbursts, A pair of doves cooing in a gnarled oak tree,  While hummingbirds beat out their rhythms, Withdrawing the nectar of gods from the lilacs,  As indigo butterflies flitter about, Golden domed gazebo with its lattice worked sides,  Once sparkling white, now elegantly aged,  Blending into the earth tones of this garden haven,  And yet stands out as the focal point of dreams, I sit, I think, passions aflame midst Elysian vision,  Reflecting within, finding naught but true love,  For only one, for she who completes my soul,  And is the true serenity of my very being!!!
