Knight

Where is my Love, my Knight, my King? Can he free me from the fear, that clings? Will you enter, will you go; will you face, this insufferable foe? Honor and truth, are all you need, to save this maiden fair. Smash this beast, who binds my heart, as I await, true love's care.   All at once, a brush of his tenderness,  wisps away my hair. Then into my ear, he softly whispers, the words, I’ve longed to hear. The monster of dread lay defeated, by the words of love he wields. The walls of forebode, fall to the depths as the light of love prevails!  Within his arms, evermore I'll be, my heart, never again, shall fear, the drifting away, some lovers see, when affection is naught, without care.   Knight, my Champion, this maiden awaits, the call from one, whose heart is true. Oh strong, yet gentle, Knight of my dreams; this heart,             is waiting,                        for you.
