Impressions of Love

There are moments that capture the essence of eternity, the universe spins in a cyclone whose focus is the heart. For that single snapshot of life all the complexities are reduced to a lone stasis of beauty, that begins before the stars were born and hurtles forever into the profoundness of your eyes. . When first my fingers touched your face their trembling could not match, the palpitations seeking escape from the confines of my soul. The draw, which caused me to brush your hair from your face and marvel, drew my lips to touch where my hands, unbelievably alive with sensation and my eyes lost in perpetuity, have been. . I remember a time long ago; the innocence of wonder, and the first eyes that ever engulfed me as I yielded an intimacy never shared. Those feelings were harbored vessels I considered forever set to sea, until that moment when, rediscovered, I saw the little girl frolic  within the manifestation of the woman, and purity was reborn. . When our lips met, hesitantly, briefly, we walked from a desert, to the freshness of chilled water, and that brief touch sufficed. Slowly as our souls yearned for more ensuing draughts grew deeper and longer, yet the refreshing ministrations remained only an extension of the intimacy that united our souls in rapture as eternity looked on.
