Sunset Whispers

Dark tall pillars are standing bright, Wet snow falling from greying skies On streets keeping her secrets white. Distance holding back bedroom sighs. Lost in her memories, his mind burns darkness helping guide his way To the long lost love he must find, And leave a flowered kiss to stay. Her orchid lips by harvest fields, sings love songs with dreaming eyes. To velvet flutes and armored shields, He'll search for her with night hawk cries. Cushioned quiet steps slowly went, Over hers on the carpet floor. Following her french perfume scent, Eagerness leads him to her door. His sunset whispers finds her blue, Hiding under a cotton sheet. His coming dreams like morning dew, Won't let go when they finally meet.
