Lifeless

Carried along by the currents of our dreams, drifting aimless and unafraid. Conquering obstacles by the mere turning of an oar. No thing looms  bigger than the day as a presence too great to overcome, or go around. Languid, soothing, moving forward dreams. Tomorrow is the journey today we live the prize. Oh, when did the tide turn forcing rocks and rapids into our path? And, our languid journey became the quest... as the prize becomes  a sought after thing, never attained. Looming  before us as an obstace too great to overcome.
