We look at you and see no face and yet fear fills our heart we hear the words you violently say as you tear our lives apart We smell the smoke your hatred caused we taste the fallen ash we see the piles of what used to be what you would consider trash We watched you wound it with our planes and we saw the fires rise and then you did it a second time  and we could not believe our eyes We bet you got such a thrill to hear the screams all around but the crowning glory must've been when they tumbled to the ground Killing all the innocent people that stood under our great towers must've made you feel invinsible as if you had all the power The faces around are filled with tears as they search for loved ones lost each person holds on to their own hope regardless of the cost You must have put alot of thought into what you did today but unfortunately you didn't think it out because now you will have to pay So you should look a little closer you will not like what you see we will pull ourselves up again this we guarantee For we will not tolerate your games or live our lives in fear we will strike back with deadly aim keep watch, the time is near But as we bring you to the ground make sure you get one last look we're stronger than we've ever been our spirit you never took Our lives have been changed, there is no doubt but together we will stand for you cannot break the back bone of us because We are an American
