For Corrin’s Little Brother

He was the boy  with weak knees  jumping on a  tight trampoline  hoping to amplify  the smell of summer  in his shortened memory. The boy, who was grateful for his sister’s arms  clutching him to her  traveling body when  his wilting form  could not bounce alone into pale blue.  She wrapped both of her adolescent limbs around  him and fed him giggles until the day he was gone. Whenever she feels weightless  she is with him.
