A Tribute to. . .

Some flowers need no morning light to rise and smile and greet the day... their sun comes from deep within where God has planted His bouquet... they open up their petals wide lend their beauty to the world... then close them up at eventide dozing a while in peaceful slumber. If you should be so fortunate to find flowers such as these do not disturb their tender roots for their beauty is meant to be shared with all who come into their view and you will find they never fade. These are the flowers of the soul... of which I've known a few... and at least one of them is you, Regina. revised 5/7/2000   by  Donna E. Friedrichs

Additional Notes:
To everyone. . . The original poem was written as a `Hallmark card` type of poem. Those of you who read the original version and got that out of it were correct. :O} This is my revised and final version of this poem, (card). I do want to thank doris c swearingen for her suggestions which helped a lot, I think. That is what we are all here for. To try and help each other. Ps. Maybe when one or two of the people here become famous for their poetry writing, one or two of the others can say, "I helped them get there". . . :O} Have hope and be kind to one another. Donna ~¿ô
