A Cry From The Dark

Thoughts; anxious, confused, frenzied - together rushing, swirling, spinning. A whirlpool of senseless patterns plunging deep into an obsidian depth. A cold churning sea of feelings. Emotions rise and fall to extremes, like menacing waves of a raging storm, carrying me further out into the abyss. Dreams become corrupted by chaos. Reflecting their malevolent intensity, immersed in fear and turbulence - Erasing all signs of the light of day. Existing now only as an empty shell. Fallen to the depths of the void. Lying in empty, useless anticipation of deliverance from this dreary prison. In a final and desperate attempt, an arm extends upward, hand reaching towards that last tiny glimmer of light. Gasping for the slightest breath of life. A small voice cries out from the dark... Can anybody hear me?
