The Blues

Lilting Lady Day caress me with subtle blues. Weaving a triptych of contentious trumpet and the ebony keys that tease him on. A trio of consolation. Lovesome Lady Day cocoon me in finespun song. Strand one blue note to float in air and land alone on fettered ear. Spun tunes of carefree gold. Lonely Lady Day, you are good to me.
