What is it?

Made to order, one size fits all, no time for emotion, just time to fall. It knows no race, nor boundary lines, or ethical values, or relative time. It calls in the morning, the evening,  or when,  you least expect it, can even be delivered  by friends. Sometimes it is subtle, or even obtuse, sometimes it is silent and shaped like a noose. It always will get you, sometimes by surprise, when it comes for you someday, you’ll have that look in your eyes. By now it’s too late, your past silence set, that terrible feeling,  being trapped in a net. So when you hear it,  attack with might, don’t sit back because, someone else will make it right. Stand on the principle, right things,  that are right, stand up for justice,  and fight the good fight. Or be in the wilderness, surprised by it’s coming, sit there like a log, and do absolutely nothing.  Don’t be alarmed  that we show no remorse, by you saying nothing,  you’ve selected your course. Now pay your dues fully,  for not standing up, and next time it comes, maybe you will tell it,   “Shut up!”
