An Interlude of Renewal

As the memories of my suffering move between us, I desired for you to  comprehend all with a known insight. There are reasons why I wince in uncovering emotions and truths to you or myself. The heartache which has encumbered my essence have caused my arms to overflow with agony. I have dreaded stretching out, seceded from those  reaching out to me, for fear of rejection. The traces of doubts with mixtures  of restrained disbelief, connected my spirit with confusion. Years of abuse have caused my lips to remain sealed in silence of the past. The sheltered isolation and guardians of reluctance had intimidated my hopes  of letting go. Today, I possess new power of awareness, drawn out by love and acceptance allowing me to walk decisively towards freedom. My soul is currently in search of finding it’s own acceptance, beyond all that has held me in bondage. My claim for liberation has been met by way of those who have heard my plea.  The critical voices of the past have been replaced with inflections of approval. Those who wanted to claim me as a person are now cast down by the renewing of my spirit,  and with the love of others who embrace me just now.
