Hungover

familiar scene once again lying on the floor the sun gazes in through the half-shaded blinds malevolent being try to remember how this occured vodka shots, tequila shots, rum shots, scotch and soda, root beer schnapps, drinks with no name mixed by the host, and beer, all surrendered in the worship of the porcelain goddess leaving their traces in the throbbing head try to remember whose house this is raise slowly from the floor, first on all fours, then sitting, than standing on wobbly limbs like a two year old child fumble from this door, to the front door, to the car door, cursing the existence of doors try to remember where the freeway is to return home to wash, rinse, and repeat.
