The Shared Space

Once again I arrive sensing this special place, where my heart can be free without any disgrace. Only mine so different than what you perceive, me wanting, you waiting to see what we achieve. Closing my eyes wondering how I will be, can I open up again allowing myself to be free? The door slowly opens and I see your warm smile, so contented to know you, seems it’s been awhile. Entering this room where secrets I will share, the spirit intensifies, my heart completely bare. As I gaze in your eyes with the wonder of you, wisdom among honor resonate through and through. On my side of the space I view forbidden devotion, comprehension now yields an innocent emotion. Your commitment to stay on your own chosen side, altogether, love and passion must be denied. We have shared a journey I will forever treasure, a sincere love within me which I could never measure. Leaving you this time rendering my special space, will I see you again in this distinguished place?
