Life's Travail

If only life's travail could pass us by unscathed and we could cast the days already gone slowly tasting robust wine mellowed in our memories carving out the seconds with deft hands of pure intent. Untold, the needs the moments missed the seasons left untouched unchanged by lives that never met by hearts now stilled and never knew by dreams undreamed and roads unseen now lost to life's travail.
