Fire Spirit

Rivers whisper his name as they journey, Through the kingdom of endless time. Earth waits for his hand to caress the face, That fears the unknown design. Called from the winds with steely blue eyes, He guards the ice palace of dreams. Chips of cobalt mask a face, with vigilance He watches and evil screams. Colors of his essence blaze in the circle, Of flames hungry desires. He knows you watch yet reveals his face, to Only those who dance with the tiger. The Fire Spirit hears the beckoning chants, His vision captured by belief.  The apparition's mystery revealed in the dance, Laughing with truth,as he dares with chance.

Additional Notes:
Sitting around the camp fire with Two Crows Laughing and her Husband, the Fire Spirit gave us a show. I am hoping that you don't have to believe in Indian folk lore to appreciate this piece but it may be to confusing without an explanation of its origin. I don't know, your feedback will give me an idea.
