Remembering the South Pacific

A soothing southerly wind gently caresses my skin. As the music of the pacific plays sprays of salty mist calm my spirit. Enchanted by the beauty  its emerald color luring me, tempting me to explore its depths. It’s there I find release. I’m weightless as I dance with  the oceans surges that move me gracefully, back and forth. This great ocean is courting me. Inviting me to explore, to fall in love with her power and the beauty that she holds.  I’m her treasured guest. Her family greets me without fear, with curiosity. I feel accepted in this new world. I long to experience it all. Hues of coral are but a backdrop to this amazing place. Filled with spectacular color and the oddest creatures. As I look in wonderment, waves of things unseen before pass my gaze.  It’s then I see you. You’re with me in this whimsical world. It’s now I know I’ve found paradise.
