I want to pen the perfect poem. Dress my words in pretty dresses. Pepper it with plosive p’s –  Celebrate the sibilant s’s! Ask Al to write haiku for me  about some yellow snow. Or help me find the free verse  where fricative f’s will flow! Maybe Brenda will critique it and applaud my great technique. Or JoAnne and Claire and Rachel!  Oh, their wisdom do I seek! So let me pen this poem, now, dedicated just like this: To all the poets on this site -  but especially to Chris.   You’ll love it.  You’ll hate it. You’ll change my every word. My intangibles will tingle. The result will be absurd! A poem for me.  A poem for you. If I try, I can’t go wrong. Every word I write is my attempt To sing a sweeter song.
