Ballerina

On the stage I see the Ballerina, lovely and graceful as one can be. She twirls, pirouettes, flies through the air, while I stand there, entranced, loving every move. Her name in lights, she makes the evening bright, with flourishes, and bows ever so gently to the crowd. I knew her from when she was a child of dance, a child of chance, to perform, to love, to soar as no one ever had before. Dark hair, long and flowing, her dance she keeps showing, to all who watch, to all who care. I am standing there, entranced, loving every move. She looks briefly at me, as she glides blissfully by, catches my eye; my knees weaken, and her moves send me to heavens unknown. The Ballerina, Barbara Jo, star of stage, and screen; yet somehow I imagine her as my Queen, my precious love, so dear, I stand there, entranced, loving every move. She comes to me softly, we kiss, we dance, she takes me in her arms, and shows me the magic of her spirit, so free, so beautiful, so lovely, now so much a part of me. The Ballerina, Barbara Jo, would you allow me to hold you so very tight, make me feel a world so right?  You are so lovely, so smooth, I will follow you. I am so entranced, loving every move.
