The Love Of Sparky

It was a lazy summer day, the sun's heat was beaming Our lovely little Sparky was napping and dreaming. He was awakened by the air conditioner, smoking with heat He yelped and he barked for the neighbor, he waited to greet. Don was home asleep after the all night job he left Sparky awakened Don for help, all by himself. Sparky alarmed Don, enough to arouse him, with joy Don checked on our precious and loving little boy. Together, so excited, they reached Jerry by phone Telling him, there's an emergency, he's needed at home. Soon Jerry was on the highway, driving an excessive speed Arrived home, just in time, to help Sparky and Don in need. I have memories of Sparky, his love so true, I know In memory of Sparky Lee Donovan, my 'ever loving hero'
