War Echo As I have given the night my sleep, I gave you my breath. You did not care for it, you gave me stone. I know the chambers of your fears, having had my own. The jaguar pain is waiting in his keep. Your father and you held the weight of the world; they shot him down, you followed his cue. Guarded by your affliction, thought or deed evinced shame, but your stern morality has effaced my name. |
