Non Sequitar Does it matter who I am? I am one of the faceless. One of the unknown. YOU pushed me to the top of the building, and placed me away - far away from the city. I could even be your friend, or neighbour. I have no say, No voice, I don't matter. That is why you seemed surprised when you saw my name in the paper. Friends, teachers, and neighbours interviewed. "HE WAS SUCH A QUIET BOY. HE KEPT TO HIMSELF." "PARENTS BLUDGEONED TO DEATH BY SON," The headlines screamed. |
Additional Notes:
C'mon now! Don't even think this is about myself!
I am in the field of psychiatry, and am NEVER surprised when I read such headlines.
Don't think this is poetry? Well, tell me exactly - what is poetry?
In case some of you make light of my spelling. It is British/Canadian spelling. Okay?!
